Luis Cacho is in his third season as an assistant coach with the IWC men's soccer program.
Cacho has coached in the eastern Iowa area for a number of years. That includes coaching at Columbus High School in nearby Columbus Junction for the past three years. In 2008 he led the Wildcats to a 12-3 record and was named the Burlington Hawk Eye boy's soccer Coach of the Year for southeast Iowa. Columbus spent much of the season ranked in the Iowa Division 1A state rankings.
A native of the island of Honduras, Cacho has coached for much of his life, coaching in a number of Hispanic leagues as well as youth leagues. In addition to coaching soccer, Cacho works full time in human resources at Hon Company in Muscatine.
Cacho is married to wife Michelle and has three daughters (Sabre, Sasha and Stephanie). The family resides in Muscatine.
