Iowa Wesleyan College: Evans is in his first season playing for the Tigers and transferred to IWC in the spring of 2010 from Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, Tenn.
Volunteer State CC: Played two years at Volunteer State and was team captain as a sophomore. Played in a total of 45 games and averaged 4.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game over two years. Was a teammate of current IWC players Jeff Harper, Jeremy Simmons and Davis Warner.
High School: Attended Jackson Central Merry High School in Jackson, Tennessee. Played four years of basketball and was a team captain sophomore through senior year. Named to all-district tournament team as a junior and senior and to all-tournament team in 2006. Also graduated with honors.
Personal: Born May 24, 1989. Son of Catrina Evans and has one sister (Jada). Majoring in Visual Communications and Design.
