
The Henry County Health Center provides athletic training support for the Iowa Wesleyan College Athletic Department. mandy.borchers@iwc.eduMandy Borchers is in her second year on the athletic training staff at Iowa Wesleyan College, having joined the Tigers for the 2010-11 school year.
Before joining the staff at Henry County Health Center, Borchers was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Iowa. She served as an assistant athletic trainer at Mid-America Nazarene University in 2007-08 and was an intern assistant athletic trainer at Loras College from 2006-07. She also received student athletic training experience at Wartburg College (2005-06), the University of Northern Iowa (2003-06) and St. Ambrose University (2002-03).
She is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the National Athletic Training Association, and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
Borchers is a native of Orange City, Iowa and earned her B.A. in athletic training from the University of Northern Iowa in 2006. In May 2010 she received her M.S. in exercise science from the University of Iowa.
