The Iowa Wesleyan's College men's soccer team has put together its first winning streak of the season after beating Cornell College 3-2 in a non-conference win on Sunday afternoon at East Lake Park.
It was the second straight win for the IWC men, putting them at 3-5 overall for the season. The win ended a great weekend for Homecoming at Iowa Wesleyan, as both the Tiger men's and women's soccer teams won on Sunday.Caio Costa

). Cornell was able to equalize the game late in the first half on a goal by Kaji Sherpa to go into halftime tied at 1-1.
IWC retook the lead and kept the scoring going with a goal by Jesus Soto

) kept busy in goal with five saves for the Tigers. The Tigers outshot Cornell 29-15. Shots came from a number of IWC players as it helped the Tigers get the win over the Rams, who are now 1-8.
